The 4th Symposium of Architectural Research in Finland was held last weekend (26.-27.10.2012) at the Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. More information about the seminar can be found here. The theme this year was “Architecture as Human Interface” and presented keynote lectures by David Wang, Sara Grahn, Judith Strong and Salim Elwazani.
The seminar presented a wide rage of topics from the field of architectural research. The Adaptive Urban Lighting research team presented individual articles. Toni Österlund presented an article for his personal doctoral thesis reseach titled “Exploring the design possibilities of emergent algorithms for adaptive urban lighting control”.
